The datasets from the biennial revisions of the World Population Policies Database are provided below in Excel format. These datasets provide information on government views and policies on seven major topics: (1) population size and growth; (2) population age structure; (3) fertility; (4) reproductive health and family planning; (5) health and mortality; (6) spatial distribution and internal migration; and (7) international migration. Information on a total of 59 policy variables, covering these seven topics, has been gathered since the mid-1970s. Further information on data availability and variable definitions can be found here:
